Starting at age seven and later training at the Centre for Young Musicians, Yiigaa has since earned 700+ national radio plays independently, with major support from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers including Jeremiah Asiamah, Jack Saunders, and Sian Anderson as well as working and contributing heavily to the underground London scene.

Her music has featured in four consecutive Love Island seasons (2021–2025) including the fan-favourite Closer remix by Conducta, backed by DJ Mag and GRM Daily. She’s also collaborated with top producers like Salute, Anna Lunoe, and P-rallel with her new single at 50,000 streams in the first week. 

On stage, Yiigaa has performed at The Roundhouse, The National Theatre, The Hundred (with a crowd of 25,000) and sold out three headline London shows — most recently at Amazing Grace.
